Chris did the digging and the rest of us did some clipping! By 2:00, Chris and I were laying down the mulch. What a transformation! We are pretty proud of the end result. Even picked up some decorative rock from the quarry today to add some interest.

This weather we're having couldn't be more perfect to get projects done outside. It's amazing that it's almost February. Scary to think what our summer will be like :/
Would love to hear about any outdoor projects your working on. Again, would have been easy to hire someone to do it for us, but for one thing, that costs money and secondly, it's such a sense of accomplishment when you do it yourself!!! Hopefully, what we did plant, stays alive.
Happy Planting!!!
That is beautiful! Now, would you come do my yard? LOL! We can't grow hardly anything with Texas heat and drought! I love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kirsten for stopping by! I wasn't sure what to do out there as far as which plants to go with. The Texas heat doesn't help with growing much, but we shall see. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Try finding some heat tolerant plants. My mom is growing what she calls her "Texas" garden. Does pretty well in the 200 degree weather we have:)
ReplyDeleteI am dying to get outside and work on my landscaping...it's just too wet and cold here in KY right now. Yours is gorgeous, I especially love the pebbles! I am hosting my first link party today, and would love for you to add this, and anything else you like!

Hi Jessica~ Thanks for stopping in and thank you for your nice comment. It's crazy that my husband and I were able to do what we did in January. Never happens. We had some nice weather and it continues off and on:)
